Aubretia Dwarf Compact     These compact dwarf aubretia seeds from Franchi Sementi produce an annual plant, easy to grow, which prefers very sunny positions and resists the cold well, being an evergreen.  The ultimate hardy ground cover perennial, perfect for for rockeries, walls, borders, edging paths, planters and window boxes. Producing a stunning mass display in early spring.  The colors spread across a risch range of lavender, lilac, rose and carmine shades. Growing to 4” with a spread of 15-20 inches.   The flowers cascade in a magical color, perfect for forming colorful cushions. Especially suitable for rock gardens, walls, borders.

• Sow Mar – Jun under glass or in heated conditions on fine soil based compost and lightly cover with compost or vermiculite.
• Can be sown directly outside from  late Apr to Jun.
• When large enough to handle transplant to trays or pots and grow on.
• Plant to growing postion in early autumn.
• Flowers the year following sowing annually in Mar-Apr.
