Onion, Cipolla Red Rock Ibrido F.1. Medium-early variety. Suitable for spring sowing. Long day hybrid for Spring sowing.  The skin is deep red. The bulb that forms is uniform and round in shape with a very narrow collar.  Bright dark red tunics, thick and consistent. Good shelf life after collection.  The consistency and the dressing of the bulbs allow a good resistance to manipulation and conservation.  Excellent productivity. Markedly uniform, vibrant red, jumbo-sized bulbs with globe shape. Gorgeous, rich skin color also reflected in the internal rings. Overwintered in the south from fall planting. Red Rock is an excellent short-day option for southern California. For short storage (up to 3 months). Intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (race 1) and pink root.  Great Taste
