Candy Tuft IBERIS, Multicolor

Candytuft - Iberis - Multicolor  Iberis sempervirens, more commonly known as Candytuft, is a perennial evergreen subshrub from Southern Europe with attractive, deep green foliage and showy white blooms that appear in early spring. At maturity, the mound-shaped plant reaches heights of about 10 inches and is often used for a ground cover, rock garden or for bordering a flower bed because it flowers when many spring plants are finishing and summer bloomers haven't quite started.. Likes a moist but well-drained, fertile soil in full sun.This hardy plant is suitable for planting in zones 3 through 9. Early spring bloomers flowers late April-July.   Can be pruned lightly after flowering to retain the shape and tidyness.
