Eggplant, Melanzano Della Uova

Eggplant, Melanzano Della Uova is an annual plant.  Vigorous with intense green leaves of medium dimensions.  Produces fruits which resemble eggs in terms of their size and pale yellow to white coloration.  This mini aubergines are called 'tree of eggs' because they are not only the same size, but are white and yellowy/brown in color and very productive. Sow from Feb-May and grow them exactly the same way you would your other aubergine varieties although being smaller, I have found these easier to grow.White egg-shaped eggplant. Bushy plant 2-3 feet across. Best flavor when picked about the size of a jumbo egg. Taste and texture described as mushroom-like  Because of it's unusual appearance, it is also an attractive ornamental plant.
