Lettuce, "Americana Bruna" Frisee d'Amerique Lattuga Riccia Invernale.  Winter Brunette, a rustic variety which forms open rosettes, with ruffled egdes. Early with an open splaying head and blistered leaves  MANY names, but a great lettuce! Large, open head. Leaves are red/green with serrated edges. Use as a cutting lettuce or grow to full size. Best color in spring & fall.   Approximately 800 seeds per gram.
