Radish (Daikon), Ravanello Mino Early. Early variety. 55-60 days to maturity. Conical, white elongated root with a fairly strong flavor. They can be sown all year in warm climates. Mino Early is a leading open pollinated radish (daikon) for summer to fall harvest in Japan. It has good heat tolerance and can be grown all year round in tropical areas. A huge winter radish with a mild sweet flavor when grown in cool weather. The tapered root can grow 2" in diameter by 12 " long; white, tender and crisp with a mild pungency. Great for pickles, stir fry or fresh eating. Daikon is reputed to have many therapeutic benefits as well as a great flavor. Harvest when 14-16" long and weighing 1.75 lbs. Late pithiness.
