Sunflower, Girasole Formula Mixture

Sunflower, Girasole Formula Mixture   is an annual mix of sunflowers selected for their range of colors and height.  Very striking effect and recommended for sunny borders and as a cut flower. - Helianthus annuus.  A plant with a height of 5-7', which can be successfully used for a backstage culture, forming very bright inflorescences (up to 8" in diameter).  Sunflowers love sunlight and do not like freezing. Grow well in a sunny, warm, wind-sheltered place with fertile, loose and neutral soil; sowing is carried out directly into the ground in mid-May, in nests of 2-3 seeds, at a distance of 16-20".  You can also grow sunflower seedlings, but in this case it is necessary to provide the plant with enough light, otherwise the stems will be weak and curved.  Sunflower seedlings appear 6-8 days after sowing.
usage: grown in flowerpots in front of the house, on beds and large flower beds as foreground plants, in a group on the lawn, on balconies.
