Turnip, Rapa Mezza Lunga Bianca Colletto Viola

Mezza Lunga Bianca Colletto Viola A Foglia Frastagliata (with jaggaed leaves) Mid Early variety.  Good dimensions and few leaves.  It produces half long red and White root with white consistent flesh.  This is a 4" or so long turnip, red on top, white on tip, white fleshed. Good taste. Nice for slicing. One of the sweetest turnps ever!  Easy to grow.  

Turnips have a good content of vitamin C and mineral salts and are rich in water.. They are a natural antioxidant of valid help against aging.​
